The LWV-GCV will host a public forum titled “How Do We Respond? Immigration and Due Process” on April 28 from 5–7 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3214 Golf Rd., Eau Claire. Speakers include Dawanna Witt, sheriff of Hennepin County, and Jordan Hamzawi, political science professor at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. The event is free and open to the public. Light snacks will be served.
