About this event
LWV-WI, the WI Fair Maps Coalition, and other nonpartisan organizations are advocating that we vote "NO" on two proposed constitutional amendments that are on the April 13 ballot. If enacted, the amendments may impede the just, efficient, and timely use of federal funds by our state government. As with many ballot measures, the language can be confusing to voters. More about the issue is at https://my.lwv.org/wisconsin/august-2024-constitutional-amendments.
We'll meet in good company to write postcards to voters to encourage them to vote "No" on the amendments. Just bring yourself and your favorite pen, or use one of ours. Cards, postage, a mailing list, and sample messages will be provided. Join us!
The Raw Deal offers house-roasted coffee, smoothies, and other beverages and a selection of baked goods and light fare.
Metered parking is available on the street or in a nearby municipal lot.
